Mr. Hatfield takes the box home for the night and puts it in a safe place. It is not long before 3 people are claiming the money is theirs. Who let out that the box had been found? When the police arrive, imagine Mr. Hatfield's surprise to discover the box has been stolen? Who is guilty?
Follow the boys and the scout leaders in this third adventure as they try to solve the case PLUS get ready for the Knights of the Round Table ceremony for all the dens in Webster City. How do they make their costumes? What do they find to make them look more authentic? Where does a boy named Jack come into it all?

I truly enjoyed visiting this place from my boyhood. My mother gave me a copy of this book when I was a cub scout some 57 years ago and I somehow lost it with growing up and many moves. It was touching that this copy was given to a boy by his mother for Christmas 1956 and inscribed inside the front cover. The condition of the book was excellent and looked as though it had not been removed from the bookshelf for more than 50 years. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thomas D'Ulisse
