So, I did read the warning that was given prior to reading this book, but curiosity got the best of me and I clicked that buy button. When I tell you this is one of the craziest stories I have ever read. All of the characters were psycho if you ask me. You may wonder why I gave it 5 stars. The author warned all readers and delivered on the storyline as per the warning so I had to give credit where credit was due. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and it was definitely jaw dropping. I can’t say more without spoilers. This is definitely not a case where love conquers all. In fact, the levels of hatred and revenge are something I’ve never seen before. But all said and done, I really loved this book. It was everything it promised to deliver and more!!
I don't even know where to begin. My mind is racing and I am lost for words. I thought Saviour was a bada** dark story but Andie has blew my mind with MIne. I lost count at how many times my jaw dropped and the chills I got. If you like/love dark, thriller, suspense and twist n turns than you have to grab a copy of MIne. I am leaving my review like this, Spoiler free because MIne is worth reading. Around of applause to you Andie. I freaking loved MIne!
The twists just keep coming. I was not happy putting this down at midnight to finish this morning. Tgw Author did an amazing job with this story. I am not going to list a bunch of spoilers as I think you should read and experience this ride yourself. Be warned when you think you know what's going on, keep reading because I didn't see some of the twists coming. I didn't expect to like this since I did not care for Saviour, but I am glad I gave it achance as I very much enjoyed it and will put is with my other that I will read again.
It's very interesting and disturbing ! The main character Melissa wants revenge, and oh yes she really wants revenge... Now.. How she goes about getting it is crazy and twisted. You may think to yourself, does she really need to go to such extremes to get revenge really ? But she does... You will see all the characters have issues and they are disturbing and nuts ! It's really kind of sad and scary in a sick twisted way....
You need to read it and carefully and follow along, because not everything is at it seems...then everything will fall into place. With a shocking ending. You will not be disappointed....
Andie M. Long is a Great author, how did she think up this Crazy story ? Wow !!!! 😵
For someone like me, one thing about going in blind, is that you get to read thru the whole story, regardless if it was something way out of your comfort zone.
This is the first book I've read from Andie Long and to be honest, I did enjoy it to the point that I was actually not going to take it against her thay the book contains one of my pet peeve, inaccurate timeline.
Had I known what the story really is, I wouldn't have purchased and read it. It contains topics that make me either cringe or tick me off. But then, I was already 44% and waist deep on the story when that twist was actually revealed. With that, I can not stop reading. I had to know what happens. The roller coaster ride was good and some of the twists are actually unexpected. But then, as the story comes to a close, I kind of felt it was lacking.
Nonetheless I'd give this a 4 out of 5 star. It did capture and hold my attention keeping me on my toes wanting to know what's next.
What a thrill ride this was!
I went into this book not knowing what to expect. I heard it was dark, but that was it. And oh man, was it dark! I loved the darkness that dripped from the pages. It was hiding at every turn, and MInE kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering where it was heading.
All the characters were outstanding. Each one plays their own part in this hate story, and that's exactly what it is a hate story. Sure, there's a tad bit of romance, but the loathing the main character feels outweighs the love. MInE was amazing in that aspect. Hated seeped through and I found myself wondering who to hate. Instead, I found myself feeling sorry for every single person. Each character was messed up. They each had their unredeemable factors, but they had bits and pieces of their souls bared for others.
I did find two things really predictable, which is why it's four and not five stars. I had one figured out fairly early on. The other was just meh. But... MInE was still full of surprises, and I found myself enthralled in the words.
MInE is dark and powerful, full of hate, yet it speaks of a tale - masterfully written - which proves nothing is what it seems...
I am going to try my hardest at keeping this review short and real guys, because MY. MIND. HAS. JUST. BEEN. BLOWN!!
This is a first for me by this author. What attracted me to this novel was the synopsis, I couldn’t look past it, so I one clicked.
Boy did I get a WHOLE lot more than what I ever imagined.
To say this was a mind field of manipulation is an understatement. I can’t even begin to tell you how twisted my mind became reading this. It was all kinds of crazy and trying to process it literally left my thought process mush.
You see this novel is nothing like I have ever read. I have read hundreds of novels, but I cannot compare it to a single one. This is so unique not only in the subject matter, but also in its execution. A three part novel, which for me played out perfectly, we are thrown into a dark and twisted world of revenge. That’s right, this novel is all about seeking revenge.
But let me tell you, this is no old school sweet revenge. This is downright nasty, twisted, mind altering, life changing revenge that I as a person wouldn’t even think of and still can’t get my head around. It’s lunacy.
And I loved every minute of this story unfolding.
I am not revealing anymore, but know this. If you are after a psychological read with a dangerous twist and explosive ending you need to read this. You won’t be disappointed.
